11.2. Rotary fists

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

At installation it is necessary to use new nuts of the spherical hinge of steering draft, the lower spherical hinge and tightening a bolt and a nut of a rotary fist.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off a wheel nave cap, take a R-shaped bracket.
2. Remove a blocking head from a lock nut of a power shaft. Weaken a nut of a power shaft on the car standing on wheels. Also weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel.
3. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports. Remove the corresponding forward wheel.
4. On the cars equipped with ABS unscrew a bolt of fastening of the sensor installed on a wheel of the car and take the sensor from a rotary fist.
5. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a power shaft.
6. Unscrew a nut, the fixing steering thirst for a rotary fist and take the spherical hinge of steering draft from a rotary fist. For extraction of the spherical hinge of steering draft from a rotary fist it is necessary to use a universal stripper of spherical hinges.
7. Remove a brake disk.
8. If it is necessary, unscrew bolts of fastening of a suspension bracket (are specified by shooters) to the top part of a rotary fist.
9. Unscrew a nut of fastening of the lower spherical hinge and take a pin of the spherical hinge from the lower lever.
10. Unscrew a nut and take tightening a bolt of a rack of a rotary fist, noting that the bolt is established from the back party of the car. At installation it is necessary to use new tightening a bolt and a nut.
11. Remove a rotary fist from the end of a rack and from shlits of a power shaft. Remove it from the car. If the rotary fist densely sits on the lower part of a rack, use the big screw-driver for a release of a clip of a rotary fist.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Make sure that vents on the external end of a power shaft and grooves in a nave pure. Pull a nave over grooves of a power shaft.
2. Pull a rotary fist over the lower part of a rack of a suspension bracket, leveling a crack in a rotary fist with a ledge on the end of a rack. Insert new tightening a bolt from the back party of the car, screw a nut on a bolt and tighten the required moment.
3. Combine the lower spherical hinge with the lower lever and fix it with use of a new nut.
4. Connect the spherical hinge of steering draft to a rotary fist and fix by a new nut.
5. Establish a brake disk.
6. On the models equipped with ABS install the sensor of rotation of a wheel.
7. Grease an internal part and a carving of a nut of fastening of a power shaft with pure engine oil and screw a nut on a power shaft. Fix a nut of fastening of a power shaft by the required moment. Check that the nave rotates freely, establish a head of blocking of a nut of a power shaft so that one of safety locks was combined with an opening of a power shaft and record it a R-shaped bracket.
8. Establish a wheel and lower the car.
