5.1.14. Final collector

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a branch pipe of an intake of the warmed-up air from a final collector.

2. Unscrew three bolts and remove a casing of a zabornik of the warmed-up air.

3. Block back wheels and lift a forward part of the car.

4. Disconnect electric wires from a lambda sensor.

5. Unscrew nuts of fastening of a reception exhaust pipe to a collector.

6. Unscrew nuts of fastening of a final collector to a head of the block of cylinders.

7. Take a collector from a motor compartment and remove laying of a collector.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

2. Consider the next moments:
     – check a final collector for wear and existence of corrosion;
     – clear the interfaced surfaces of a collector and a head of the block of cylinders of traces of old laying. Establish new laying and a collector;
     – connect a reception exhaust pipe to a collector.
