GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

The two-row roller bearing does not demand any adjustments and has the lubricant providing operability of the bearing on all service life of the car. At installation of the bearing it is necessary to use a new lock ring.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a rotary fist together with a nave from the car.
2. Establish a rotary fist on supports and, using the tubular mandrel established on the internal end of a flange, squeeze out a flange from the bearing. If the internal ring of the bearing remains on a nave, remove it, using a stripper for bearings.
3. Remove (shooter) a lock ring of fastening of the bearing from the internal end of a rotary fist.
4. If necessary establish an internal ring of the bearing back and, opiry an internal part of a rotary fist on supports, using a tubular mandrel, squeeze out the bearing from a rotary fist.
5. Clear a nave and a rotary fist of dirt and lubricant.
6. Grease with a thin layer of Molykote 321 R lubricant an external ring of the bearing and a flange of the plug.
7. Reliably fix a rotary fist on supports and install in it the bearing. You make installation of the bearing with use of a tubular mandrel which has to press on an external ring of the bearing.
8. Fix the bearing a new lock ring which has to be established in flutes in a rotary fist.
9. Install the plug by the outer side on a support and establish an internal ring of the bearing for the end of a flange of the plug. You make installation of the bearing, using a tubular mandrel which presses on an internal ring of the bearing.
10. Install a rotary fist together with a nave on the car.
